Our Story
The Bratty Brujita Botanica was established in 2021 by Yvette Montoya as a way to help folks cope with the anxiety and existential dread. It has continued to evolve with people’s needs as our world changes rapidly around us. Today, we offer a variety of esoteric products aimed at giving clients the tools they need to step up their healing work as well as readings, energy cleanses, and candle consultations, and workshops.
Welcome. My name is Yvette Montoya and I’m a bruja, a medium, and healer born and raised in SoCal.
I follow the Caribbean and Mexican tradition of espiritismo and herbalism. I bring that worldview to my energy work, writing, and products. I’m an initiate of Santeria (not crowned) and a Priestess in Palo. I’m currently studying under master herbalist Karen Rose. I’ve been featured in Refinery29, Allure, Cosmopolitan, and HipLatina for my work.
